Laurence Acher

Laurence's adventures in photography started as a teenager with an old Brownie Box camera,
developing and printing his photos in an attic dark room at home. Later he progressed to colour,
shooting slides with an Ilford camera. Forward some fifty years and Laurence bought a
modern
SLR
camera and took colour photography seriously. Though with an £80 camera and the
price of
colour
film and prints it became an expensive hobby. Now armed with a modern DSLR camera,
Laurence has linked up with a group of fellow West London photographers and
enjoys the
enhanced
pursuit of what has been a life-long experience.
